About Safety Map

Safety Map was founded in 1998 for the purpose of producing the highest quality emergency evacuation maps and graphics available today. We use state of the art computer software to produce clear, concise graphics, which are easy to read and understand. All of our maps and graphics meet OSHA regulations regarding emergency action plans, employee emergency plans, and means of egress.

Why choose Safety Map?

OUR MAPS COST LESS THAN "IN HOUSE" CAD MAPS

You will not be able to produce maps of a similar quality for your facility for less money than Safety Map. By the time you pay your drafting department to make maps you will have spent considerably more time and money.

CAD VS QUALITY

Why is Safety Map the clear alternative to CAD? By using state of the art software we take the complicated technical look of CAD and convert it to a format that is not only easy to understand, but looks great. We color-code our maps to immediately direct the viewer to the closest emergency exit. Extra large U-R-Here symbols and bright red directional arrows are easily visible on all of our products.

EASY UPDATING

Let's face it, facilities change constantly. We archive your files so that when future changes occur we can update your existing maps, keeping your facility safe and compliant at all times.

OSHA REQUIRES YOU TO HAVE MAPS

Your Emergency Action Plan is not complete unless you have evacuation maps. OSHA Regulations - Standards - 29 CFR 1910.36 (b) (5), Standards - CFR 1910.38 Means of Egress - 1910 Subpart E App. The use of floor plans or workplace maps, which clearly show the emergency escape routes, should be included in the emergency action plan. Color-coding will aid employees in determining their route assignments.
